You're probably looking for a therapist in the Greensburg, Pennsylvania area (or virtually!), and that's how you landed on this page. Welcome! We're honored that you're taking the time to look at Caring Conversations (abbreviated CCTS for the rest of this post!)

You've probably noticed that when you google "therapy in Greensburg", approximately a billion search results pop up. There's a lot of therapists in the area. How are you suppose to choose? You can also ask Chat GPT, but again... how are you suppose to choose? Here's a little about us and what sets us apart.

  1. Strong Community Presence

We work hard - like really hard - to maintain connections within the community. We typically go to multiple events every month to meet with other providers, the community, referral sources and more. So, if you come to CCTS, but are interested in medication management, for example, we can give you some names. We ultimately want you to find healing, even if it isn't with us.

  2. We accept insurance

Insurance is a hot topic in the therapy world, because they simultaneously underpay therapists, while also costing the client a lot. This is a separate discussion for a different day, but these days, a lot of therapists do not accept insurance. We accept most major commercial insurances (UPMC, Highmark, United, Optum, Cigna, Evernorth, Aetna. We are sorry but we cannot take Medicare or Medicaid insurance at this time).

  3. We have multiple clinicians

Multiple clinicians means that you are more likely to find a match for you!

  4. We offer flexible scheduling.

Scheduling varies by clinician, but we offer evening and weekend hours.

  5. We're fun. You can anticipate fun things in the office around the holidays - Halloween candy, Peppermint the Elf at Christmas, that type of thing. We absolutely know this is not the reason people choose a therapist - but, we know that going to therapy can be stressful. If we can help ease that anxiety, we're here for it.

  6. We are highly committed to ethics

You would think this goes without saying. Unfortunately, we know of a lot of unethical therapists and practices. We don't do nonsense like fraudulent billing, asking clients for google reviews, or dating clients. Absolutely not here.

  7. We got that "Mom and Pop" vibe.

There's nothing inherently wrong with large "mega" companies....but if you want that "mom and pop" feel...well, we're literally owned by Mom and Pop ;)

  8. We're highly trained

Owner Sean Borris has been a therapist for over a decade. He's helped hundreds of people, taken hundreds of hours of continuing education, and genuinely cares about the company he started from scratch.

  9. Clients come first

Owner Sean started this practice with one goal in mind: help as many clients find healing. Here, clients are human beings with names and feelings, not numbers and ID's with a dollar amount assigned to them. This approach reflects in many of our practices - if you lose your job and need a payment plan, we're happy to help with that.

Those are just a few reasons we think we're pretty awesome! We get that we aren't a fit for everyone, though, so we offer free consultations. You can speak with a therapist about what you're struggling with and decide for yourself if we're a good fit. Give us a call (or shoot us a text!) - 724.201.9815

It's hard to find a therapist, we get it. It's frustrating and a process, and often harder than it should be. We hope to change the community through our practice. Give us a call - learn the CCTS difference :)
